Coworking in the Twin Cities went from concept to reality with the launch of coworking at Crema Cafe in November 2009. As one of the co-founders of the Crema group I'm thrilled to announce the launch of the 3rd place at Crema Cafe in February 2010. Coworking is a new concept for many people, and was new to me only a few months ago. In November 2009 I teamed up with Amy Bryant to launch a group at Crema Cafe in Minneapolis, which was featured in the StarTribune. The success of that group was the inspiration for the 3rd place, and I've found that I'm able to get plenty of work done as well as making connections and having conversations that help grow my business.

So i have been talking to a few people about The 3rd Place and in almost every conversation I'm almost always asked - "why is it called The 3rd Place?". So I thought it might be a good idea to post the answer...here goes...
